My father was close to his sister and wife, so they were forced to get along...and it wasn't always easy. My reclusive-genius mother would get extremely nervous two weeks before the holidays. I apparently inherited this high-strung artistic boldly imaginative hell-raising ability to hold my ground as people continuously rise up me in authority, being female. She just wanted to be alone in her own home! *********
Parents were great tango dancers, from whom I inherited a love of Latin music. Calvinists are very happy, simple people with the humility of gratitude to a loving God for choosing them as His own. *******

MOM LIKED THINGS NICE Marion Kellock the home-builder and party- giver. I inherited this love of domesticity: the HOME MAGI. What I learned from my mother was utter disgust for debauchery--and that only was the seventies! "Imagine what the grandkids of these people will be like" she would say. She drank over the cultural degeneration not knowing a better way to handle her disgust.
